Another holiday tradition in our house. Creamed Lima Beans with Bacon Bits to go with Chicken Cordon Bleu.
Lima Beans in Cream Sauce

- 8 slices bacon, cut up
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 can drained lima beans
- Cook the 8 slices of bacon. When bacon is done, remove the bacon and not the grease. Put the bacon on paper towels and pat dry. To the grease, add the flour and stir. Add the half and half and stir until it is a medium thick sauce. Then add the drained can of Lima beans and the bacon . If the sauce is too thick, add half and half to thin.
